IT’S JUST WHAT I NEED

I’M IN!

Let’s answer those lingering ?’s

Who is this retreat for?

Kind, inclusive, growth-oriented women 45 or better, who want to… focus on self-care, foster creativity, engage in group activities and meaningful conversations, connect with nature, slow down, reflect on life, and you guessed it… recharge!

Who is this retreat ‘not’ for?

Women who are looking for… a lot of quiet and alone time (we want you to engage), posh accommodations (ours are cute and rustic-chic), super fancy meals (ours are simple but delicious), advanced fitness classes or hikes (ours are designed so beginners can easily participate).

How big is the group?

We’re keeping this retreat small - no more than 15 women plus ourselves. We’re creating an environment where everyone can easily get to know one another in an intimate and supportive space.

Who will I room with?

Bring a friend, and you can room together! Just be sure and include each other’s names on your registration, and we’ll match you up. Coming alone? Don’t fret, most women will be. You have the option of having a room for yourself or splitting the cost with a roommate - we’ll match you up and let you know who they are a few weeks in advance.

Can I bring my spouse, children, or other family member?

We believe that you deserve to spend 4 days focused completely on you! So… only participating attendees are allowed on the property during our event. If your loved ones travel with you and stay off-site, we recommend extending your time after the retreat to enjoy everything Orcas Island has to offer. There are wonderful accommodations all over the island and loads of amazing restaurants and quaint shops throughout the town of Eastsound.

What if I have a special dietary need?

Just let us know when registering, and we’ll be happy to accommodate you. Our host venue is able to accommodate most common food allergies or dietary preferences. All meals and snacks will be 100% plant-based.

Do I have to stay on the property?

Yes, this retreat includes full accommodations, which cannot be removed from your package. We don’t want you to miss out on all the fun we have planned once the sun goes down at night!

Are Stacee & Jodi accessible during the retreat?

You bet we are! We’ll be right alongside you the entire time, and if you’d like to have a little one-on-one chat with either of us, there will be some time slots available on the last day of the retreat.

What’s the weather like?

The weather in western Washington is typically beautiful during the first half of September! We generally get to enjoy a lot of sunny days, with daytime temperatures ranging between the mid-60s to mid-70s and dropping into the 50s at night. Be sure to check the 7-day forecast before leaving home so you can be well prepared.

How do I get there?

The magic of your retreat kicks off the second you embark on your adventure to Orcas Island. Traveling to the island via Washington State's iconic ferries is a feast for the senses, treating you to awe-inspiring views of the San Juan Islands and letting you soak up all the salty Salish Sea air your heart desires.

To catch the ferry, you’ll drive to Anacortes, WA, which is about 80 miles north of Seattle. You’ll then jump on the Anacortes to Orcas Island ferry. There are several sailings a day, each with a sail time of approximately 65 minutes. The Washington State Ferries ‘save a spot’ reservation system makes it easy to book vehicle reservations, which we highly recommend.

What should I wear, pack, bring?

Dressing casual and comfy is rule #1. We’ll provide a full packing list and other helpful details for the retreat in early August. We got you covered!

What’s included in my ticket price?

Everything! You simply arrive via your own transportation, and we take care of the rest. Your room, food, drinks (including a few adult beverages), all content, materials, and experiences are included. Quite simply, the only thing not included is your airfare and transportation to and from our host location.

I’m booking my flight. When should I arrive and depart?

Our program runs from 5 pm PT on Friday to 1 pm PT on Monday. The Anacortes ferry terminal is roughly a 2 to 3.5-hour drive from the Sea-tac Airport in Seattle, depending on whether it’s rush hour traffic or not. You’ll need to arrive at the ferry terminal one hour before your boat is scheduled to leave - this is very important. The ferry ride will be a little over an hour long. Once you arrive on the island, it’s only a 20-minute drive to our beautiful venue.

Is there a payment plan?

Full payment is required at the time of registration. There are no payment plan options at this time

What is your refund policy?

Due to the intimate nature of this event, we’d need to receive your cancellation request no later than 90 days prior to the start of the event. After that time, no refund will be issued. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover your trip. It can cover any unexpected or last-minute cancellations, as well as medical emergencies. There are many to choose from, so please do your own research. You can check out Travel Guard as one option.

What if I have physical limitations?

Depending on your mobility or other physical limitations, this retreat may or may not be a good fit for you. Though all of our creative and wellness sessions will be suitable for most people, our venue property features a lot of natural terrain without paved sidewalks, and it requires navigating a large, somewhat uneven grassy area much of the day as you go from your room to the different event areas. In addition, there are several sets of steps going up to the different rooms and cabins. We want you to feel at ease in our experience, and the last thing we want is for you to feel overwhelmed in moving around the property. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions.
